About me

I am an interdisciplinary ecologist with over a decade of research experience in almost every major ecosystem in North America, including temperate forests, prairies, deserts, alpine mountains, and freshwater, estuarine, and marine ecosystems. I’ve studied plants, pollinators, and freshwater, diadromous, and marine species.

I have extensive experience in procuring funding, data management and analysis, and professional writing. I have also completed several science policy fellowships and I am adept at communicating to audiences of all ages and backgrounds about issues at the intersection of scientific and social issues.

Outside of strictly professional endeavours, I also enjoy making art focuses on nature and ecological topics. You can check out some of my work elsewhere on my website.
